In March 2024, Jed advanced his real estate career by becoming a licensed Real Estate Broker after being a real estate agent since 2016. This would allow him to have his own company and brokerage if he ever chooses to do that.
In 2023, Jed completed an advanced appraiser training and education program to become a General Certified appraiser for both Texas and Oklahoma. He has worked as a licensed appraiser since 2017. At Walker Appraisals, Jed has seen their office going strong after 30 years.
Jed is also pursuing an MAI and ARA professional designation to add to his career. As part of that, he has joined both the Appraisal Institute and the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers (ASFMRA).
Jed attended and graduated from Sam Houston State University. Now, he can combine both the mindset of an appraiser and a real estate agent. This allows Jed to bring a unique approach to his clients who are either buying or selling a home or property.
With limited spare time, Jed serves on the Sulphur SSISD Bond planning committee. He also enjoys traveling to other countries with his wife. Married since 2018, they currently live in Sulphur Springs with their daughter.
